The 100th
Reflecting on my career, I am thrilled to announce the milestone of my 100th book, Diamonds in the Mud. What began as a late-night conversation with my identical twin and a whimsical decision to publish “Finding Pride” has evolved into a journey of creating heartfelt stories that resonate with readers worldwide.
From my early days in Brighton, Colorado, where I penned the first three books of the Pride series in our Skate and Snowboard shop, to now having 100 books across various genres, the journey has been incredible. Yet, despite early rejections, my passion for storytelling persisted. And this lead to a flourishing career marked by bestsellers, translations, and audiobooks. Above all, my diverse experiences and moves across the country, from Colorado to Texas, and now the beautiful Emerald Coast of Florida, have inspired the vivid settings in some of my books, enriching my narratives with authenticity and charm.
Along the Way
Barnes & Noble Press has played a significant role in my self-publishing journey, providing a supportive platform that has been instrumental in reaching readers. And they were among the first to extend a helping hand. Subsequently, they facilitated my growth as an author through numerous online promotions, new release sales, and author signings at local stores.
