When I’m stuck, I lie down and pretend I’m sleeping and voila! Unstuck. Every time.

An insanely shocking secret!

Vulnerability.

5. If you could ask any other author, past or present, a question who would it be and what would you ask.

Kristin Hannah. It took me a long time to pull myself together after reading The Nightingale. I would ask how she felt when she finished writing it and what she did to restore herself and refuel for her next book.

6. When you aren’t writing, you are____

Reading. Because even when I’m sleeping, showering, eating, anything, I’m still writing!

In a room with lots of windows, tons of sun, total quiet and preferably a view of the ocean!

I’m a pretty good cook and I can fix most things that break.
